Position Summary:

Senior consultants play a key role in project delivery and driving our client work forward. Senior Consultants are responsible for using advanced analytical techniques to translate data into valuable insights for presentation to both team leads and client counterparts. Senior consultants are critical in the design and development of our work product on projects.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Developing high quality work products by developing key takeaways from both quantitative and qualitative data

• Supervising the work and development of consultant level team members. Coaching and teaching both quantitative and qualitative consulting skills

• Participating in and supporting client meetings with senior level clients 

• Supporting Managers and Directors in engagement administrative activities including status report development and client invoicing

• Ensuring the security, confidentiality, and integrity of client information 

• Manipulating data across databases (e.g., Excel, Access, SQL, Tableau)

• Developing and building client deliverables in PowerPoint


Typical projects for our health plan, specialty health, healthcare investor and provider clients include:

• Growth Strategies & Market Entry 

• M&A Transaction and Integration Support 

• Strategic Planning & Operating Model Design 

• Value-Based Payment Roadmap Development & Provider Network Strategy

• Bid and Proposal Support



Travel Responsibilities:

• Ability and interest to travel when necessary. Estimated travel is approximately 50-70%


Basic Qualifications:

• 3+ years working for a consulting firm or professional services; healthcare consulting experience is a plus

• Effective team player who is comfortable working with clients and building new relationships 

• Logical and structured thinkers with the ability to apply quantitative techniques to unstructured problems

• Experience in Excel, Access, Tableau and/or SQL

• Genuine interest in and commitment to healthcare industry

• Enthusiasm to continue learning, challenging the team and enhancing existing strategic solutions

• Strong written and verbal communication skills 


Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field

• Pursuit of CPA or CFE certification a plus


Compensation:

• Base salary plus target bonus with complete benefits package


Relocation:

• Complete relocation package is not available. Preferred candidates should reside in Greater Chicago area
